Job Description

Assist the Head of Internal Audit in the planning, execution, and reporting of internal audits across departments, projects, and partner organizations. · Review and analyze financial statements, reports, and agreements to support audit objectives and identify irregularities or risk areas. · Support in the development, implementation, and maintenance of risk management policies and procedures in the Audit Risk Register. · Participate in the development of the annual risk-based audit plan and track progress of audit activities. · Conduct pre-audit reviews of vendor, consultant, and third-party agreements and present findings to Head ARC. · Assist in evaluating the design and effectiveness of internal controls and recommending improvements. · Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and advise on implications for internal processes and procedures. · Collaborate with departments to gather required documentation and ensure timely audit execution. · Maintain a well-organized system (physical and digital) for audit documents, working papers, and agreements. · Support the creation of audit and compliance reports for management and the Audit & Finance Committee. · Assist in implementing compliance programs, training sessions, and awareness initiatives across the organization. · Maintain and update the Risk Register, documenting identified risks and corresponding mitigation measures. · Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes. · Contribute to tracking and follow-up of audit findings and implementation of corrective actions. · Provide regular updates to the Head ARC on audit status, risk assessments, and compliance observations. · Perform any other task assigned by the Head ARC.


Selection Criteria · Graduate or Masters (BBA, BS. Accounting & Finance, and/or MBA) with a minimum of 3- 4 years of relevant experience. CA Finalist or ACCA or CIA will be a Plus. · Good understanding of contract management and legislation · Well-developed technical skills in Ms Word and Excel · Knowledge of Accounting Software and Standards


Skills and Abilities · Presentable, responsible, and disciplined


Must possess good interpersonal networking capabilities, problem solving, multitasking and teamwork skills
